Volunteer Opportunities
Every Family Helps Build the Experience
AYSO is 100% volunteer-powered. Every practice, game, field setup, concession stand, referee assignment, and team celebration happens because families step forward to help. Our players deserve a safe, organized, and positive soccer experience — and that only happens when everyone contributes.
To support our region and reduce burnout on a small group of volunteers, each family is asked to complete four (4) volunteer hours for every registered player during the soccer year.
Volunteer hours may be completed:
- Preseason — field prep, registration events, coach support, equipment distribution
- During the season — coaching, refereeing, team support, concessions, field setup
- Postseason — field cleanup, tournament help, equipment collection, celebrations
Why Your Participation Matters
Our region is strongest when parents participate together. Volunteering:
- Creates a safer environment for players
- Keeps registration costs lower
- Builds stronger teams and friendships
- Teaches kids leadership and community responsibility
- Ensures no single family carries the workload alone
Most volunteer roles require only a few hours to fulfill and no prior experience.
You do not need soccer experience to help.
We will provide guidance, training, and support.
