It's FINALLY here...
the information you've been asking for
Farragut AYSO 128 FALL 2008 Registration
We
know we're all going to have a great year.
We're ready to begin the registration process
and we've provided as much information as we can
below. Some details are still being worked
out but we want to keep you informed and we'll
update the website as information is available.
We're very
excited about this season of
soccer at Region 128 and we know
you are also. Don't forget
that we continue to need lots of
volunteers: coaches,
assistant coaches, referees
(lots of referees), team
parents, etc.
If you are
willing to be a coach, an assistant coach or a
referee, please send an
email to
Steve Trotter, Coach Coordinator or
Jack
Graham, Referee Administrator as soon
as possible.
No experience is necessary
for any of these roles. We'd be happy to
provide training and mentoring until you get
comfortable. Please remember...
It takes ALL of us
to make AYSO Region 128 soccer great for
the players!
All registration and training sessions will be held at
Farragut Presbyterian Church, 209 Jamestown Blvd,
Farragut, TN
Coaches, Referees, Board Members will be available for questions.

Downloadable Forms:
To make registration as
"painless" as possible for everyone,
we've provided a printable/downloadable
version of this year's
registration form. If you have the
latest version of
Adobe Acrobat Reader, (thanks to
our registrar, Shannon Stafford) you
can fill in the blanks right here on
the website and print the form
already completed. It will
really help families with multiple
players and therefore need to fill
out multiple forms.
We encourage you
to get a headstart on on the
registration process
by filling out all of the info that
you can ahead of time. If you are
uncertain what to put in a field on
the form, leave it blank until you
come in for registration. Do NOT sign the form until you come
to registration.

Fall
2008 Volunteer Registration
Each fall season,
volunteers (returning or new)
MUST submit a volunteer
registration form. This is required
by National AYSO. ANY volunteer
(coach, referee, board member, team
parent, tournament volunteer, etc.)
has to complete this process.
(If you submitted
a volunteer registration form to
Region 128 for the Fall 2007 season,
you don't need to do it again for
the spring.)
There are 2
methods for submitting the form as
listed below. You must present a
photo id (driver’s license, passport
or state id) when you turn in the
form to the Region 128 Child
Volunteer Protection Advocate (CVPA),
Registrar or designated Board
Member.
Registration using the e-AYSO
website: (the most private
and easiest method) If you want to
register as a volunteer or youth
volunteer in the national
e-AYSO
database (click on the button
below), it will make each year's
registration process easier but
you'll still need to print out the
form and bring 3 copies
to registration (1 for AYSO
National, 1 for the region and 1 for
you).

Registration using a pen and paper:
If you'd rather not use the
online e-AYSO system, you can still
complete the volunteer paperwork at
any of the activities listed
above.
EITHER WAY... PLEASE VOLUNTEER !!!!!
For answers to other questions about
being an AYSO volunteer,
please contact our
Child/Volunteer Protection Advocate
(CVPA).
Thanks for volunteering your time
and talents to Region 128!

Frequently Asked Questions:
We've compiled a list of common
questions we hear from parents each
year on the
Parents
page. As we receive others,
we'll add them to the list so that
everyone gets the same answer.
We post answers to every question
although we may combine and
generalize questions if they result
in the same response. Here's
the most recent list with links...
