FALL 2009 Registration Update
There
will be one FINAL registration
opportunity for the Fall 2009 season.
It will be held on Thursday, 8/20/09,
from 6pm to 8pm at Farragut Presbyterian
Church. Please note that this will
be the last opportunity for registration
for any AYSO 128 team for this season.
Only U8 Boys and U10 Boys divisions are
currently closed. See the
detailed division status
below.
Also, we
will not create waiting lists this year
just in case we have some late player
drops. The concept was discussed
at length by the board but it was
rejected due the time required to manage
waiting lists and uncertainty it causes
player and parents on the list.
We can
still use coach and referee volunteers! Please
consider volunteering to coach a team or
referee if
you can. We provide coach and
referee training/mentoring if you're new to soccer.
If you are willing to volunteer to coach, please contact
Regional Commissioner: Chris Stafford
or
Coach Administrators: Matt Seaman
& Steve Trotter as soon as possible.

No decision has been made yet about
whether or not a Late Registration day
will be held.
At this point, U8 Boys and U10 Boys
divisions are already closed and we
are short at least 2 coaches for each of
those divisions based on the number of
players we have signed up. Please
consider volunteering to coach a team if
you can. We provide coach training

FALL 2009 Registration
Sometimes things don't work as easily as
you'd hope. Our early
registrations in May had rain problems
and we had to cancel most of the
sessions. The GOOD NEWS:
#1 - If you registered in May, your child is ready to go but
we still need volunteers!
#2 - If we missed you in May, we're making it up to you by
holding another two days
of Early Registrations as
well as a Regular Registration session for
the
FALL 2009 season.
Here's the schedule as we know it now
and we'll update it as we know more. We
recommend EVERYONE keeps checking back
weekly for updates:

Soccer Camps to provide a place this
summer for your player to develop new
soccer skills or improve the ones they
have. There are opportunities for
players at ALL levels to learn here. Click on

problem for us the past two weekends but
we're going to take another try at
early registration for FALL 2009 at the Pellissippi fields:

response to requests by parents and
coaches, AYSO128 is pleased to offer
early registration for FALL 2009 at the
Pellissippi fields:

Friday, May 1 & 8 from 6:00 – 7:00
p.m. – at tent near field P2 (U8 /
U14 field)

Saturday, May 2 from 8:00 a.m. –
5:00 p.m. – at tent near field P4
(U10 field)

Saturday, May 9 from 12:30 – 5:00
p.m. – at tent near field P4 (U10
field)
The
Registration Form will be available for

Training is scheduled for Saturday, 2/28,
from 8am–5pm in either Room A or
the Social Hall
at Farragut Presbyterian Church, 209
Jamestown Blvd, Farragut, TN.
The agenda will be focused on preparing new
or less experienced coaches for the
upcoming
season but will also be a great refresher
for those coaches who
"haven't been to training for
awhile." We encourage EVERY coach to go
through
this training:

Correction to Referee Training date
Referee

showed the dates incorrectly as 3/7 and 3/8.
We apologize for any inconvenience and hope

FREE opportunity to learn more about the
game of soccer, even if you never intend to
referee.

volunteer for the U14 Girls and that allows
us to reopen the U16 Girls division for a
bit. Thanks to the volunteer Coach! Are
